Homjica recipe with roasted peanuts

This hominy recipe with roasted peanuts that I present to you is a delight to serve when the days start to get cold. It is very suitable for June parties, but can be prepared for any other occasion as well. Its preparation also includes condensed milk, grated coconut and coconut milk, three ingredients that add even more flavor to this creamy dessert. Check out all the preparation below and enjoy!

Ingredients for making hominy with roasted peanuts:

 500 grams of hominy

 1 can of condensed milk

 3 tablespoons of sugar

 750 milliliters of milk

 1 cup roasted and ground peanuts

 50 grams of grated coconut

 50 milliliters of coconut milk

 cinnamon to taste

How to make hominy with roasted peanuts:

Start by washing the hominy well under running water and soaking it in water with sugar for about 4 hours. Then steam until tender.

Place the cooked hominy in a pan and add the remaining ingredients: condensed milk, milk, peanuts, grated coconut, coconut milk and cinnamon. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.

Tip: If you want you can change the powdered cinnamon for a cinnamon stick.
